what would you do with 1100 vintage science fiction books?

a library in Syracuse, NY has a rather massive collection of vintage sci-fi books. that’s a dream come true for anyone who lives in that area and loves the genre, particularly the classics. opening up a dusty, battered book from 1961 can feel otherworldly. unfortunately, for the sci-fi lovers of Syracuse the library is at a crossroads: due to lack of interest in the collection, circulation is very low. what are all those avid Murray Leinster readers going to do?

this is where the library offers an idea to its patrons: by writing a proposal to the library trustees as to what should be done with this mother-load of reading material. whoever winds up with this collection might want to invest in some more book shelves and a Swiffer duster.
